One Photo, and my creations

I took this picture last year, but I keep messing around with it.. Its a statue and the last pic might freak a few people out.. I like to play :) I have also stated in my profile that I am a survivor, so all I can say is sometimes just may be this is what visits me in my dreams erm ok nightmares..
Only leading up to and after court cases these days :)
Gipsy is how I sign my digital art work, so no I havnt swiped it from anyone..lol
Please also remember my work is copyrighted, so just ask if you want a copy...

Word Art Freebie-Then & Now

I created it using "Harrington Font" and its been clear embossed so its clear but will pick up what ever you put it on as in my page underneath..
I zipped it in PSD & PNG formats..
Someone left a message on my last one, saying they hoped it worked in PND? I think it was, I dont know what that is..
So if someone wants to let me know, I will endeavour to save in that format as well.. I still only use PS 7.. I am so ancient and behind the times lol
Anyway enjoy and dont forget if you want to link me to your layout I would really love to see it..

My eldest said I mustn't love her because I am always scrapping everyone
but not her... Well its not true, lol I do have quite a few of her..
Its just that the little princess is cutier to scrap lol..
Not really, I just have my moments and depends on what kit I have just discovered
on what I do..
I have this really goofy picture of her, she was clowning around and I was
taking pictures, and she kept daring me to take her picture..
She shouldnt have dared me,lol I got a good one, she wants me to destroy it,
but guess which picture I am going to scrap next... hehehehehe
Its already started lol..
She is soooo going to dead arm me :)
I made the word art for this lay out and will be adding it as a freebie..
Dont expect to see me here much over the next week, Mere Male and teenage daughter & friends have all been gaming online and used up all our
bandwidth, so we are back on dial-up speed.. uggghhhh
It takes forever to load anything so I may just keep busy in the real world*look of horror* until we have it back..
No freebie hunting , all the scrap stores are having there sales, wahhhhh..

Dont think this is going to show very well, its rather long. lol I have tried photographing it ect..
Its an accordion card, Made entirely by me. The first pic is the front, and the rest is whats inside when you open it up...
My mum came over for the birth of her great granddaughter..(look out world there are 4 generations of us now lol).. So that is the most recent photo of Mum and I together..
Mum never buys me something for christmas or birthdays she always makes something, she is a really talented lady and I have to say the things she makes and gives are the gifts I really treasure..
Her words to me before she went home were" I want you to make me something"..
So this will be a nice surprise for her :)
I found the instructions online how to make one, and I used chipboard for the front and back covers then covered them in a paper I really love, it looks like embossed leather, ever since I saw it I have used it for so many things..
My next project with it is to do a something up for a family for them to frame and when I showed them something else I had made with this paper they loved it and said yeap..
I want to make a much bigger one, but as yet havnt been able to find a strip of card long enough for me to get the 8 folds for that size..
I am off to play with the little cookie eating princess :)

P.S IF anyone has any suggestions on how I can perhaps join the card up, I would be really interested in hearing..

Yet another page of my darling princess grand daughter, she is a
cheeky little monkey, and has figured out what those buttons do..
Once she has the strength in her hands we are in trouble..lol

I was able to do this whole page with free items from several designers
they have all been listed above..
I was surprised to receive an email this morning giving me links to download
a massive mega kit from "Art & Scrap"
They have given generously and freely the most beautiful things..
Thanks to Maria at Digi Free I have found several designers who make
really fab templates and again offer them for free..
But what I also found and it truly makes me annoyed is how when you go to download, you see something like 365 downloads but only 65 comments..
May be its just me, but I cant make the things these ladies are making,
I am trying to learn..
But most of the downloads go through 4 shared, and you have to wait
if you don't have a paid account for the download to show..
I use that time to thank them, cos I really do appreciate the fact
that they are allowing me something lovely to do something
creative with my pictures, that I couldn't do myself..
And whats more they are sharing it freely with me..
So it stands to reason if there are that many downloads then
all those others liked it as well, so why do they find it so hard
to say even just a simple "Thank You".

Just messing around digitally again, lol I dont make a mess that way (makes my other half happy lol)
Lauren Bavin is one of my most favorite designers, there is just something about the sets she makes that really appeal to me..
I wandered onto Elegant Wordart (Bethany's Blog) a few days ago and really loved her work, and so when I saw the new word art she had posted I knew straight away what I wanted to do...
The template also came from Midnight Scrapping's blog, after seeing something I like I took the time to read her blog and discovered a few other templates that I loved this being one of them..
I also want to enter a challenge so this is my entry..
Today however I am going to make a mess and go see what new things I can cook up traditional wise..
To those who downloaded my word art, thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to leave some love..

Loving Him

Its been a busy couple of days.. Had a friend fly in and stay over, took him to the airport this afternoon, had to drive my partners car, I hate driving his car..
I have this cute little fuel economic car, and he has one of those expensive Ive got grunt ones..(mine has no grunt lol) Everytime I have to drive it I am terrified that I will damage it, well I already have, its custom built and guess who cracked one of the sidings*looks around innocently* You have to be so incredibly careful when you drive it, its low to the ground, and it was late I was tired and reversed out of a car park and caught the side on the curbing which I didnt see..
He was really good about it, didnt yell, get upset or anything, just said" its just a car, your more important"... He has only just talked me into driving it again recently, and in case your wondering yes he wanted me to drive it straight away..
I was messing around today, with a template that I really liked and a set of papers I bought..
And this phrase that is the word art just kept running through my head..
So I had a go at making my own and am putting it up as a freebie for others to hopefully enjoy..
The purple teddy in the middle photo,is a special little dude as well, Grah bought it for me one day, we worked for the same company and our shifts changed so I was early morning and he was late afternoon so we would miss each other by about an hour, I came home to find this little guy sitting on the bed with a note..
And from there on we both tend to place him somewhere for the other to find to convey our love..
And its a terrible pic of me, lol I was busy reading in bed and Grah calls me and as I look I realize he has camera up and snap, thats the wonderful shot lol...
Anyway Hope your day is a funtabulous one..
