An update for everyone :)

Wow I have had alot of trouble getting into my things, the email account attached to this blog, for some reason I cannot get into at all :(
Yet my other accounts there is no problems.... Have to figure that one out...
So thank you for my lovely messages, I am missing doing this like you wouldnt believe, and missing all the beautiful people I came to know through this as well....
Where am I at, well I still dont feel that I can come back to the capacity that I was at before..
I am told that I am suffering with "Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome" haha I havnt been to war, well at least not the kind most think when you mention that...
Good news, I am now able to shower without needing someone in the house with me, woo hoo, that is a biggy and I are you ready for this am able to go out on my own :)
That is a major biggie lol....
But I still have a long way to go, as I still dont feel safe, and am really looking forward to the day when I do and even though I have moved far away from where I was, I still dont feel comfortable out in the open...
But its baby steps, and the need within myself to nolonger be his victim that will get me to where I should be...
I am still not working, and not from lack of trying, so really kicking myself for not continuing with doing my kits, but you live and learn .....
I have put myself forward to do Volunteer work counselling, but I have done one interview before them, and due to my experience will be going back for another one, but while I will have to do extra things on top of the course I am hoping that I will be accepted...
I feel I have alot to offer in that area... And its something that I really want to do, and will keep me out of mischief while I await some employer to give me a job.. :)
So thats where I am at in my life....
I was really crushed when I couldnt continue due to what had been happening in my life, with my scrapbooking...
so I put it aside, but I am sharing the only things I have done since my absence from here....
I am going to try and be around alittle more but I am not making any promises on that just yet, I want to come back, but I want to be able to stay around , if you can understand what I mean....

Holiday with Nana And Grandad & A freebie

Well the title is a clue.. Yeap I just spent the last week with my beautiful little granddaughter..
We have had soooooo much fun, I honestly thought that I would have time to jump on at least an hour or two.. It has been a fun filled week, with loads of hugs and cuddles and kisses...
Mum and Dad missed her really badly lol, so organized to visit....
She got to meet some relatives she has never met as well....
She showed granddad how to delete things and move things to all weird and new places on his puter...
Changed nana's settings several times as well lol...
She absolutely loved the wildlife around here, but then I knew she would, she has such a gentle loving nature...
Dzion and her had a ball, well he allowed her to do whatever she wanted lol...
So I am still behind in everything because I just didnt find the time...
You forget how much work is involved when you dont have little ones around...
So I am sharing the brag book pages from my Pitter Patter kit for these..
I have tons of photos so their is loads more to scrap ...
I also finally got a ct layout done, still have more, and never did manage to get my new kit zipped and up... But I am hoping to achieve that today....
So here is the pages I have done so far...

She insisted that he couldnt eat from his bowl and hand feed him one biscuit at a time...
At one stage she even decorated him with his biscuits, he let her do whatever she wanted...

Playing around, trying to get a picture of her without that horrid dummy,
was almost impossible but I did manage to get some...
She is so funny, we ended up giving her an old keyboard and mouse to play with..
She sits in and moves the mouse and clicks a few times, then she looks at the screen,
goes "thats it" and then clicks mouse a couple more times and then one finger types,
goes back to the mouse and moves and clicks..
The last pic is her telling nana off, because she kept standing up and I told her to sit,
so she is telling me to sit ....

Sitting at the top of the slippery slide, she even wiggled herself so she could slide down...
She got to meet some relatives that she hadnt yet met and they came bearing gifts,
this being one of them, but when they put it together they didnt get one
wheel right, so it kept falling off...
So these are her helping grandad to fix it..
And only grandad is allowed to push her on it, nana just doesnt do it right.
Grandad goes fast lol...

Wow what a day lol.... Every time I have gone to do some serious work on my puter someone has rang, texted or my angel has wanted me to do something with him..
But I got the quick page zipped and up, not as early as I had planned but its here now lol...
So this is from "Lovers Glade" It is now finished just needs to be zipped and previews made ugghh I dont like that part lol...
And the news I wont be around to much this coming week, lots happening in my personal world, all good and fun but I wont have much time to jump online...
Yeah yeah your all breathing a sigh of relief lol...
Anyway there is no rest for the wicked and I still have heaps to accomplish before my trip tomorrow, so you can take this QP for a test drive and let me know what you think.,..

I wanna go to the beach not work on a kit.....

Wow its been soooooo hot, up to 40 degrees Celsius today.. Now last hot day, my human angel and I decided making a trip to a beach would be the thing to do, and it was lovely... Nice and refreshing, but today I was stuck inside working on this will I ever get it finished kit... lol
My muse has so totally gone on holiday, good news is its just about finished only a couple more things need to be added and then the part I really dread, the making of the previews lol....
So I played around with it to see if things would work so I am sharing the layouts I made with it...
If I hadnt had my mind on the beach and how soft, refreshing and cool the water would be, I would have had the Quick page zipped and up to share.... Sorry lol tomorrow or maybe later on tonight...
I am actually really happy with the way it is coming together...
I also wanted to finish off my last 2 challenges.... Yes only 2 left to finish, but I downloaded the font for the font challenge its showing in my fonts but wont show in my program.. Yet the new ones I downloaded today are all showing up no problem.. Mybe I will uninstall and try all over and see if that will work...
And I still have Mels-World lovely new kit to make something with, I worked out what I am going to do, but I need a frog , lol and there is no frog.... I wonder if I could talk her into creating me a frog....lol
So I watched the news tonight, now most of you know I rarely watch T.V even the news, because they never put anything good on, its all doom and gloom..
Wow what an eventful day it has been, 320 passengers all safe after their plane crashed in the Hudson, that is pretty amazing and I am so happy for all those people and their familes...
Then of course some loser had to go and light fires in Perth, seriously how do you get thrills from doing that, We have this amazingly beautiful park up at Perth called Kings Park, its full with natives and all sorts of beautiful things, and someone decided to light a fire near it, so the firefighters have been fighting it all day and will be all night, then there are some in Yanchenup and another place all pretty serious... Goes with summer, but so much is destroyed and its so hard to contain with the heat and lack of water.... And makes you so mad when they are delberiately lit....
And our australian cricket team what are they doing, geeze lol... yeah we are not doing to well in the cricket, someone is teaching me all about it so I understand the game and stop telling them its boring lmao... I still think its boring lol ... But at least now I understand it...
Anyway I shall share my layouts and stop waffling on....

he has the ability to make me fall in love with him over and over,
lol, not that I have ever fell out of love with him, but he just does some simple
little thing and makes all those feelings come rushing back and its like when we first got together all over again...
Anyone who is in love will know what I mean, lol we are like an old
married couple, we were just so meant for each other..
So that is a glimpse of the kit I am working on, not your normal
valentines kit, but then you wouldnt really expect that from me..lol

A Freebie, CT Call and The Chosen one

Wow how was that for a mouth full.. lol..
Which one should I start with...
I was really amazed at the template challenge response and really happy as well..
Even our designers jumped in and had a go lol, so that was really great...
We got alot of templates shared, so ladies can now make themselves up a complete CD size brag book...
It is also a 2 part challenge, so from the 1st-11th everyone downloads the shapes and then creates a template and uploads to the section in the forum..
I pick one they are our "Chosen One" and then we all download her Template and create a layout with it and upload that to the gallery and then I send everyone the posting bonus kit...
It kept me really busy and I also learnt some things..
One is there are ladies out there who want to play but dont know how to do things with their software ...
The other thing that really made me have warm fuzzies was our lovely "Rose Addict" now I know alot of you will have seen her here and there, she always is so beautiful and lovely and always leaves lovely messages with her thanks when she downloads..
So she just jumped in and put up a screen shot to help the other ladies understand what saving in layers was... Again Rose thank you so much..
So now on my to do list are several tuts to put up in our kitchen so that we can instantly refer people to those to help....
So to make a long story short, The lady I chose to be the "Chosen One" this month is Angela, because she sent me a message explaining that she didnt know how to do it in her program and she wanted to play... So eventually just the day before the templates had to be in, I found something that I hoped would help her, and She put a really beautiful template in for us..
I just felt that she had accomplished so much and she should be our very first template winner...
I struggled with who I was going to chose, there were so many lovely templates, I couldnt off course pick my friends and the designers are not in the running lol....
And the ladies had really made some beauties....
But there is always next month and the month after and if they are all being real with their comments they all had alot of fun and thats what its really all about....

Here is what I did with her layout
This is/was my stepfather, he has crossed over now...
But he was an amazing man, dutch, loved his aircraft and are you ready for this lol
Named Pymm Van Gogh, he is distantly related to the "Vincent Van Gogh"
cept he never thought about cutting off his ear lol...
But he was also a painter, and in his time has left his family and friends
with lots of wonderful paintings...
The ones I have both my girls have nominated which they want, in turn
they will pass them on to their children..
He sold quite a few while he was alive, so who knows mybe one day
his will be worth something .. But to me they are priceless...
That is the reason I chose the kit I did to do this layout with..
I just felt it was so him...

Layouts and Freebies-you are spoilt today lol..

You missed me, lol digi free didnt pick up my last freebie and no-one came to visit me...
Not true, the regulars came lol..
So I have been a little busy, what have I done, well I only have two challenges left to complete, yes lol
When I finish this post I will be picking my very first "chosen one" from the template challenge,
then scrapping her template to put up in the gallery...
Trying to decide on a color swatch for my next kit, trying to decide what the theme will be, there are already so many valentines kits out, and over christmas I honestly just stopped looking , there was just nothing but christmas kits everywhere and I kinda got past wanting to see anymore...
I fear valentines is going to be the same, so my question to myself is if I do a valentines kit, will it be something worth looking at... If I go with whats in my mind yes lol...
And I have sold a few of my very first kits, wooooo hooooo that feels pretty wonderful lol....
I also have to make up something because I need some Creative Team members, to join my two very lovely and talented ones Laura and Nydia....
So you might end up with 2 posts today lol....
So first some layouts, I must have done something good several days back, I was checking my stats and I had 9 people come to one page that had nothing but layouts on it, no freebies, they all came from Mountain View CA, I see the isps so they were all different people and they had all searched the same thing in google, I get to see that as well as the links lol...
So now I know you really want to look lol...

hmm I didnt get back yesterday lol,, sorry I really do have lots on at present...
But I shall make up for it today :)
So the news, remember my spider post a little while ago, well I was up early enough to see her pack up her web and where she hides all day ...
Isnt that exciting lol.....
So ok that wasnt really the news....
The news is that I have joined the Design Team at DigitalArts-Cafe... How cool is that, I am soooo excited...
I truely love the ladies there, I went here and there, and I actually wandered in there after a freebie, and registered and went and said hello and looked around and I really liked what I saw and I really loved the warmth and friendliness I saw there...
Before long I had met my two beautiful and dearly loved friends Laura and Nydia...
I dont wander anywhere else, I love it there... And I have made more friends and gotten to slowly know more and more ladies....
Laura helped me get a couple of CT positions because I was to scared to ask, didnt think my layouts would cut it ...
Joined in the challenges and learned some things, of course I have shared alot on here with you all....
So here I am finally, taking my first baby steps in the designing world.....
I got to do the template challenge as well, and that has been keeping me busy...
The second part of my news is that we are having a sale, yeap I am really giggling about this one.
We are having a winter sale, but I am sitting here in hot Australian heat lol....


Hows that you can make some big savings on all the designers kits there, and we do have some lovely ones...

Some big news but Im not telling you till tomorrow lol

I am going to make this short today, I am so very tired, I have been busy with alot of things both digital and in my personal life... And the brain just doesnt function properly without sleep...
What am I talking about lol my brain doesnt function properly with it lmao.....
So tomorrow I will give you my news, the only hint is I have accomplished the first part of one of my goals I set for myself..... And I am happy about that :)
So I have been busy with another Cd template made by one of our ladies at DAC, her software didnt allow for her to put it into the format we were using, but she still jumped in and had a go and gave us a sketch to use.. So I have turned it into a PSD File so that everyone can use it....
And then of course I scrapped it, and I have the two our lovely Mel did.. if you click her name you can pop over and pick them up from her blog... Please leave her some love, and lol she still didnt get it right, but they are gorgeous templates.....
Then I did my ct layouts for the lovely Rachael Hudnall I did tell you she has bought out yet another new kit, and it is gorgeous.... And of course I made one into a QP to share with you all....
Tomorrow I will have something else to share with you....

And I was so happy because I had bought this kit ages ago, because as I often
do I see one and fall in love with it, even if I dont have pictures that will go with it..
I still have my traditional scrapbooking habits lol, I would often go to my scrapping shop,
to get a couple of things I needed for a layout, but just look around to see what was there,
a couple of times $300 later thank you very much..lol
I find digi scrapping a much cheaper hobby lol...
But I still stock up on lovely things...
