Some People Restore Old Pictures

Some people spend ages restoring old pictures, lol me I take a perfectly good picture and make it look old..
To the right in my links is the link where you can go play with this nifty little page..
I know I ran quite a few through so that I can scrap them in the old aged look :)
DerekM is where I discovered the link, so thank you Derek, lol ..( he can be found in the male scrapper links)
I took the last verse of an "I am" meditation for the journalling on this one..
Its from" Light from the Universal Mind" by Barbara Barton..
I really played around with this one, blending a couple of papers together to get the effect I was after, fact everything had to be blended lol..
The scrabble pieces are from "Nicecrane Designs" You should check him out, another male designer and has some different but very lovely things..

Freebie Template- Strips & Flowers

I had a fight with 4 shared to get this one up for download, seems something has the same name or something, cos I always check the links after I put something up and it kept giving me a message that the file contains copyright..
Now I know I didnt use anyone else's things, I had put a small preview of my layout and added the information and links to the collab set...
So I thought may be its that, now I am really annoyed cos it had nothing to do with that, I pulled it all apart and re zipped minus that and still I got the message...
Soon as I changed the name from strips & flowers to SF it had no problems.....
First time I have encountered that one..
Anyway if anyone has any probs please let me know.. Thank you
I was going to be really bad and put a password on it, lol ..
Password was going to be "Thank you", I figured even if alot of people didnt leave any, I would have made them type it to get what they were after lol.
What can I say, I guess I am showing my age, ( OMG I sound like my mother lol)
Anyway its past my bedtime so I better go get some sleep..

Weekly Challenge # 3

#3 is based on Birthdays.. Seeing as I have celebrated 3 in the last week, lol ( no not all mine I am not that keen to jump 3 years per year)..
The layout will explain it anyways..
Our gallery is being upgraded, so cant plop it in there just yet..
The template is another I came up with and I will be uploading it after I finish this...
A big thank you to Carjaziscrap & WenchGrafix for getting together and making this beautiful kit and sharing it for free with us all....
And I blended a couple of papers to get the base layer and also altered one of the frames so that I could get the ribbon to wrap the 3 frames together..

I really liked another ladies cards (mothers day) and was hoping she would win..
But one of our other challenges which is the week 2 card challenge which has to contain at least one butterfly..
Her card is just so beautiful ...
I might have another template up later on, I am trying to figure out how to do the paper tear, something I really love..
I have a couple of sets I bought, but there not mine to add, so I have to make my own, there probably is a tutorial out there somewhere on how to do it, but that would be to easy lol..
Anyway its time I went to sleep..

Another Challenge Entry

Well the challenge was ABC, we had to use at least one arrow, I button and I chipboard circle..
I am really beginning to love these challenges, as they are helping me to expand my ability to do things..
First thing was to make a template that I was happy with, then the rest was to layer it with pretties..
I think there is only a couple of things that I didnt come up with on this layout..
I lost the first one I did, my main hard drive needs to be cleaned up, lol way to many graphics on there, and well it locked up and I hadnt been saving so had to start all over again..

I also am going to have to go hunting as once I merged it all my buttons and word art which on my screen were raised and looking natural flattened out to what you see here :(..

Yeap They "Both" were born on the same day, The little one turns 18 Today and big sister turns 28..
How times flies..
So happy birthday my beautiful young ladies erm ok tom boys lol..
You have given me some of the most amazing memories and moments in my life..
I love you both dearly and so many times you have made me proud to know you both..

Happy Birthday To Me, A plopper For you :)

The verse my daughter put in my card.."Your not 45, your 18 with 27 years experience" And My mother, gee your 45 this year how did you get so old..lol Thanks I think...
I wanted to get this up earlier its my gift to you all but to many visitors and calls ect today,lol.
But better late than never so here it is..
My first attempt at making something from scratch by myself..
Except for the swirls I managed to put it together and I even made some ribbons..
I shall do some more work on those and may be have them up tomorrow..
I have saved it in PNG format, for anyone who hasn't used a plopper before, you just place your photo underneath on a layer and line it up where the photo goes, you are going to have to erase the white center bit, thats easy just use the magic wand highlight that section and then erase..:)
And ta da you have a page, you can add more if you wish..

Its Tough Being A Baby...

Our little princess loves having her photo taken... She poses, which is good and bad, sometimes you sneak up with the camera to get a "this is going to be a great shot", and she spots the camera and stops and poses..lol..
Anyway mum snaps away often, lol thats probably why she loves the camera, between her Aunty and her mum and sometimes nanna she is always being photographed..
She got these great shots, so I thought I would scrap them for her.. I did make a template to use, and this lay out fits to what I came up with just adjusted a little to what I liked it...
